Corporate Social Responsibility at H&M

Thursday, November 1, 2007 18:00-19:30, Hotel Hellsten Luntmakargatan 68 11351 Stockholm
Ingrid Schullström is the CSR mananger for H&M and part of the corporate management team. She has worked for H&M since 1983, and held various positions within purchasing, production, quality and CSR. She has been working with CSR for ten years now. Before that she was based in Hong Kong for five years.

Ingrid will begin by introducing the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility in a few sentences. She will then talk about how H&M has, during the last ten years, taken control over where and how its garments are being produced, how it has introduced and implemented a Code of Conduct and how it is monitoring compliance. She will also speak about the lessons learned and how H&M sees the way forward to achieving sustainable improvements in social and environmental standards.
